Teacher: High School Science
BS in Biology from the University of North Georgia 2015
I am a recent graduate from the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega, Georgia (a small mountain town north of Atlanta) with a degree in biology. My love for science comes from being able to see the divine attributes of God in creation, and I want others to be able to see that as well.
I first felt God calling me to be a teacher when I started to lead YoungLife during college. I felt a satisfaction in working with students and sharing the Gospel with them through morning Bible studies, as well as living life alongside them and being a positive influence.
I got married in November of 2015, and my family consists of my wife, my one year old German Shorthaired Pointer, and me. We recently moved from Georgia to North Carolina, and we could not be more excited. In my spare time, I enjoy playing sports and music, and I love spending time outdoors, especially whitewater kayaking and hiking. Being active and getting outside to enjoy God’s creation is something I am passionate about and love to do.
